Martha’s Specializations:

  • Breath is the foundation of all movement, and a core of my yoga and counseling practice. My yoga facilitation offers both structural and compassion-focused instruction.

    I am a 500-level certified yoga teacher.

  • The greek soma means body and psy means mind— referencing the ability to ground oneself through sensations, or body-mind awareness. Gentle practices that connect body awareness with mental and emotional health.


  • Tools in the your toolbox are important but there’s frequently a gap between knowing what’s best for us and actually doing those things.

    I work as your partner and coach to make sure you’re following through on your commitments to yourself— mindfulness, exercise, yoga, and reflection practices that you know are important but can fall by the wayside in a busy life.

Consulting Call- Free

15-minute consultation call to figure out if we’re a good fit and to determine a course forward. Contact me to schedule a call.

Single Session- $100

One hour session on your terms— anywhere from twice weekly to twice monthly. I see most of my recurring clients on a weekly basis.

Group Sessions- $70/person

90 minute small-group sessions (3-5) people emphasizing group process around a shared theme (transitions, death and loss, peri/menopause, etc).

Six-Session Bundle- $90/each

Coaching works cumulatively. Commit to six sessions or more and get each session for $90.

Martha

I guide clients towards grounding and growth.

My work utilizes a blend of decades of mental health therapy, breathwork yoga, and mindfulness teaching to build resilience, knowledge and self-efficacy.

I have built a life in Corvallis with my family— husband Kirk and now-adult boys Clark and Anson— for 30 years while working in the mental health and wellness field. The last 10 of those years have been spent in clinical practice. I have received support and growth in this community and want to facilitate the same for others.

The connection between mind and body has always been apparent to me. Throughout my career I’ve worked to integrate this connection through tools like yoga, breathwork, traditional talk therapy, and mindfulness.

I am a trained mental health therapist, 500-level yoga instructor, and a mindfulness practitioner and certified mindfulness teacher.

My private studio sits apart from our home, nestled in a bamboo grove. It provides a sanctuary for us to do this deeply personal work together.
